If you read my blog often, you've probably noticed that my wardrobe mostly consists of skirts, dresses and boots. There are times, however, that I like to throw on a pair of jeans, my favorite shirt and a great jacket. Today is one of those days, especially with the colder weather, it's just easier to be a bit more casual than usual.
The second I saw this Free People shirt I knew I had to have it. I found it back in high school, my best friends and I would see a concert or two almost every weekend and the "I Love Your Band" writing was too perfect for my concert-going wardrobe. Now that I'm a bit older this shirt is still one of my favorites and carries so many memories of sneaking back stage, sitting front row and enjoying every second with great friends and good music.
Along with my top, I'm wearing a great vintage jacket stolen from my mom's closet, a pair of high waisted H&M jeans and leopard Shoe Cult boots from my favorite shopping site, Nasty Gal.
The next time you start to clean out your closet, make sure you keep the pieces that mean something to you. I'm kind of a hoarder when it comes to fashion, but I know in twenty years I'll be so happy I kept this shirt.
