While I love any excuse to dress up, having to find an outfit cute enough for events and parties multiple times a week, without looking like I'm repeating, sure can be difficult.
I own a ton of flirty dresses. Most are sale finds, while the others are investment pieces that have been in my wardrobe forever. I'm a fashionista on a budget, which means I don't have the ability to go to the mall every time I have a new event. Instead, I've learned how to recycle outfits, turning them into something new every time I wear them.
The first time I wore this purple dress, I paired it with low ankle boots, a braided hairdo and a cross-body mini-bag. My makeup and accessories were different as well, so when I wanted to wear this again, I was able to switch it up by rocking a high pony, thigh high boots and different accessories. No one was the wiser!
It's totally okay to be an outfit repeater. Honestly, if you're not, you're wasting so many great outfits. In a world where pictures are posted to Facebook and Instagram five minutes after being taken, it's time to embrace the fact that our wardrobes are not unlimited and it's okay to mix things up! There is versatility in your closet - your mission is to find it!!
