I've mentioned before how this creative space provides sanctuary in which I can always clear my head. It's also a wonderful venue to grab a book and a coffee (iced, about now) and hang out by the water. The PAMM has a seriously insane view of Miami. The steps that lead down to the edge of the water are blissful and welcoming on a week day afternoon. The museum isn't too crowded and the shade is just right.
Recently, on a particularly long day, I hopped in my car and headed down to the PAMM to de-stress. It was exactly what I needed after a week of non-stop work. The deck has wonderful, artful swings to hang out in and a lovely garden to walk around. I grabbed one of my favorite new books, "Local Girls," and got comfortable. The next time you’re in the area and looking to escape for a bit, while in the middle of it all, head to the Pérez. You can thank me later.
