When Savannah winter's mean 70 degree weather, I take advantage of the amazing chunky sweater and stocking temperatures. I love being able to dress cute for class and still feel comfortable enough for the rest of my day. Like I've said before, a great ankle boot can go a long way. I added a pop of red to my laid back outfit, the boots were so cheap but fit like a dream and are super chic. My grandparents gave me my beloved satchel for my 18th birthday and I've been wearing it ever since. If you have something you love in your closet, go ahead and wear it as much as possible. There are so many ways to make new and fun outfits from things you've owned forever.
I don't know about you, but I seriously love Cameron Diaz. From her goofy movie roles to those insanely strong arms, Cameron is one of the coolest ladies in Hollywood. She may not be into fashion as much as I am, but she always looks put together and knows how to dress for a red carpet. Her style is simple and chic and she's not afraid to take a risk...like cutting all of her hair off. Cameron is my style crush because I've looked up to her in so many ways for a really long time. She knows how to make fun of herself yet she manages to always be the prettiest one in the room and the center of attention. So, if you haven't already seen her movies The Sweetest Thing or In Her Shoes rent those on iTunes ASAP and fall in love with Cameron just like I did.
The perfect chunky sweater is the ultimate item to add to your wardrobe. Whether you wear it on a rainy day, to class or just to travel in, it can bring serious comfort and style to your look. My oversized NYU sweater has been in my closet for years now and I love wearing it. I pair it with leggings, tights or even a bandage skirt to give my look a little bit of edgy comfort. If you have the perfect sweater, make sure you pair it with awesome accessories. You can easily go from fab to drab if you don't wear it right, so add some color and sparkle to your look and you'll be good to go! I'm pictured wearing American Apparel high waisted leggings along with my new Topshop boots, Cambridge Satchel neon yellow bag and Zara necklace. The right amount of neon yellow can take your look to a whole new level, which is exactly what I did.

The biggest trends at the 85th Annual Academy Awards were pretty obvious. White was a huge color and metallics were seen everywhere. There were so many beautiful ensembles on the red carpet, from Jennifer Lawrence to Zoe Saldana, almost every single leading lady and man wore amazing designs and I have to say I was very impressed.
Above are my absolute favorite looks of the night, after narrowing it down, these seven women looked unbelievable and undoubtedly stole the show. Jennifer Lawrence, in Dior haute couture was not only a big winner but looked amazing. Even when she fell accepting her award, all you could pay attention to was the train on her gown and the awesome positioning of her necklace. Naomi Watts took it to another level in her metallic Armani gown. Her hair couldn't have been styled better and that shoulder cut out was the perfect amount of edge added to her dress. Amanda Seyfried has seriously impressed me through out this entire awards season. We all first met her when she starred in Mean Girls and what a transformation she has gone through! Her custom Alexander McQueen gown had just the right amount of detail to go along with the awesome halter top. A+ Amanda, A+ ! Halle Berry took it to a whole new level of sexiness in Versace. Even with the long sleeves, that plunging neckline and all of those sparkles were stunning. I am usually not a fan of the pixie cut for ladies, but between her and Charlize Theron, how can I not like that style anymore?! Charlize rocked the hell out of the carpet in Christian Dior couture and it's safe to say she was probably my absolute favorite. The second we saw her, heads turned and we all were in shock. Charlize is always flawless, but last night may have been her best look yet. Zoe Saldana had mixed reviews when it came to her dress, in my opinion, I thought it was amazing. This Alexis Mabille Couture gown had beautiful detail around the top, a chic belt around her waist and a pop of color down at the bottom. This dress was an ultimate fashion moment and I give her two thumbs up. Last but not least is Kristen Stewart - this girl was on crutches last night and still looked flawless. Her laid back attitude and that perfect hair went together so well, and I am still dying over her Reem Acra dress. The simplicity of it was my favorite part, it made us all pay attention to her amazing body and gorgeous face. Although she wasn't up for any Oscar's she managed to steal the show, and that's why I love her.
If you ready my post from Thursday, I spoke all about my friend Claire's knitwear designs. I was so lucky to get to wear one of her amazing sweaters, too. The sweater is featured in these photos, it's comfy and two toned and totally amazing. If you are looking for inspiration, be sure to head to Claire's website. Her designs are incredible and one of a kind...for now!

Hologram shoes have stolen my heart. For Valentine's Day my boyfriend gave me the Brian Atwood heels in the upper left corner and I've been wearing them ever since. A great stiletto is extra special to shoe lovers everywhere, they can give you a whole new kind of confidence you didn't know you had and they make your legs look miles longer. The hologram style is simple enough to wear daily with the perfect amount of rainbow reflecting off of it. This style takes metallic to a whole new level and I am so in love. You're going to see hologram shoes, bags and even clothing everywhere, so do yourself a favor and treat your self to something shiny and holographic. I promise you will be obsessed, just like me!

I seriously love my friends. I've said this before, but they are all so talented and my blog would not be what it is without them. Nikki is the mastermind behind all of my outfit photos. There's nothing better than having a partner in crime to run around Savannah with dressing up and taking fun pictures. Nikki has helped me transformed my blog into the ultimate outfit archive and I am so thankful for that.
Of course, we need clothing to photograph and that is where Claire comes in. Claire Buyens is a fashion design major here at SCAD and is a beast when it comes to knitwear. She let me rock some of her pieces, including this insane green scarf in the pictures.
Surround yourself with amazing people, let your friends inspire you and you never know where your friendships will lead. Whether it's a fun girls night in or an amazing photo shoot, good friends are hard to find, especially talented ones like mine.

I am so obsessed with Miley Cyrus. There are so many reasons why I love her, one being she's a bad ass bitch. She is so fearless, fun and so creative when it comes to style. She's always had a bit of an edge, which I've loved, and her style evolution has been amazing to watch. From her hottie boyfriends to her amazing bag and shoe collection, Miley has it all. I chose her as my style crush because ever since she chopped all of her hair off, she has taken so many risks with her clothing. Her crop tops show off her killer abs and her tight dresses make us all want to sign up for the gym. Miley is the queen when it comes to care free fashion. Miley proved that she can do anything when she showed up to NYFW in head to toe Marc Jacobs, that Mickey crop top was beyond perfect and no one could have worn it better. Overall, I have a serious appreciation for this woman. She has grown into a rockstar with great shoes and a crazy hair cut. So, if you're contemplating taking a risk with your style, use Miley as your inspiration. She's a role model and style icon to girls everywhere and I cannot wait to see what she does next!
Nothing is more fun than playing dress up, especially at a fashion school. Every morning I get to wake up and be fun and creative with my outfits, like this one pictured. I love dark colors, especially dark purple. This button up has been in my closet for years and I rarely wear it, but when I do I am obsessed. I paired it with awesome tights from Urban Outfitters and my new boots from Topshop that I found on sale during my last visit to New York.
A great outfit can come in so many different colors and styles, throw your favorite pieces together and see what comes out of it!
