I was so happy to attend the Stylecaster & Neiman Marcus event for the celebration of Miami's Most Stylish! I brought along some of my closest friends, including my mom, and we got to mingle and shop with some of the industries biggest designers! It was a nice break from the Art Basel craziness happening on South beach and ended up being so inspiring and fun! Scroll down to check out pictures Nikki took where you will find my jewelry obsession thanks to Eddie Borgo and the beautiful dresses by Mary Katrantzou, Badgley Mischka, Rebecca Taylor, Jonathan Simkhai and Robert Rodriguez were all sharing with us that evening!

I seriously love the fall, especially in Georgia.
Last weekend my friends and I decided to check out a farm with a corn maze and a pumpkin patch. Being fashion and photography majors, we knew it would be a great opportunity for a photo shoot in a pretty awesome setting. Unfortunately, once we arrived we noticed there were no pumpkin patches are major corn mazes like you see in the movies, but we made the best of the situation and still had a great time. The pictures below are some of my new favorites, we were all a bit dressed up for the farm we ended up on, but at least we knew we could never actually get lost in the maze at the end of the day. Because we live down south, I'm able to wear maxi dresses and light jackets even in November. I'm actually obsessed with my outfit in this post, the dress is from Urban Outfitters found on super sale and my boots are Nasty Gal shoe cult!
My friends look pretty great, too. Katherine, Nikki and Grace Ann all have their own unique and amazing sense of style and I am so happy I get to share it with you on my blog today. Check out their work through the links below.
Take advantage of the fall no matter where you may be living, whether you are in Miami or Colorado, pick a pumpkin, discover a corn maze or just get addicted to a new fall fashion favorite. Happy November!

About a month ago very cool friends of mine at WiShi visited my closet.
WiShi is a company that is dedicated to social styling, a website that actually allows you to share your closet and get personally styled by other fashionistas. Whether you are looking to be styled, feel like playing dress up with other user's closets or just wanting to explore different outfits, WiShi is the ultimate social media site that is all about personal fashion. I was fortunate enough to sit down with WiShi and talk one on one about my personal style and my favorite things in my closet. I made a WiShi account and started my own closet and I've been addicted ever since.
Check out my interview and my closet, make your own account and let's get styling!
WiShi is the newest and coolest way to be inspired and inspire others with fashion online!
It's finally Spring time and I am so excited. It's back to fun sun dresses and light jackets, my two favorite things when it comes to dressing comfortably. Wherever you may be in the world, the sun is finally coming out. Pull out your favorite dress and sit outside next time you go to lunch. I paired my favorite hi-lo dress with my cute little leather jacket I found back in high school. I'm a huge advocate for ankle boots, but feel free to throw on those sandals that have been gathering dust in your closet. Find your perfect spring look and get ready to show it off, the weather is amazing and your outfit is, too.

I've decided to dedicate a blog post to something I am really excited about. As many of you may know, I was so lucky to have the opportunity to intern for Seventeen Magazine last summer. Ever since that experience, I've known that I am totally ready for the challenges of high fashion. Seventeen made me realize how perfect a career in publications would be, so now I aspire to be a Market Editor at a major magazine publication. With that being said, I was just offered an intern position with the incredible Harper's Bazaar magazine. To me, this is a dream come true. THE Diana Vreeland started her career there and so many important and inspiring people have been apart of this magazine at one point. I am counting down the seconds until this summer, already planning outfits and totally preparing for the hard work that is to come. If you love fashion like I do, make sure you intern wherever you can. There are so many amazing opportunities out there and the industry is full of potential experience. I've learned so much from so many different people I've crossed paths with. Before Seventeen I interned with Bing Bang Jewelry. I had no interest in that world but left with a new found love for the jewelry industry and the people in it. It doesn't take connections to land your dream job, the internet is a wonderful place. As I venture into this amazing magazine in June, I promise to blog daily and post inspiring stories, photos and Instagrams. As cheesy as it may sound, be sure to follow your dreams. I've known what I've wanted to do since day one and I cannot believe I am finally getting the opportunities to work at places like Seventeen and Harper's.
I grew up in Miami, Florida - hot weather, amazing beaches and a lot of shopping. Before fashion, I was really into art, so living in a city so cultured is a huge deal for me. Miami has Art Basel once a year, basically my heaven since it combines fashion, art and parties. Wynwood and the Design District are in the city 24/7, 365 days a year, meaning constant inspiration and insane graffiti all over. Today, my boyfriend and I explored the streets of Wynwood, walking in and out of cute and random galleries, grabbing coffee at an amazing little spot and obviously taking hundreds of pictures. My outfit was cool and comfortable for the 80 degree spring weather. I am also totally obsessed with my new studded bag I bought from this awesome store I found on Instagram. It was an amazing day of fashion, art and food. If you ever get the chance to spend some time in my home town, be sure to head down south and experience an amazing day just like I did!
Nikki Krecicki and I worked together on SO many amazing photo shoots this quarter. Here are a few pictures from the "Monochromatic Movement" shoot! It's the last day of finals for me, so I'll be posting outfits and inspiration as soon as I'm back home in Miami!
Instagram is my favorite guilty pleasure. It's safe to say I am completely addicted to it and I have absolutely no shame. This fun app allows its users to document their live with cool filters and short captions and hashtags. The second I got an iPhone I downloaded the app and started snapping my life away. I've found Instagram to actually be amazing for networking and self promotion. I've found new bloggers and new inspiration while allowing my blog to be discovered at the same time. I find myself scrolling through my feed morning, noon and night, looking for new outfit posts from friends, cool manicures from stylists and magazine editors and beautiful Hermes bags uploaded by those chic fashionistas running around every fashion week. Instagram allows the fashion lover, the animal lover, the whatever you want to love lover to unite in this cyber world and find creativity and inspiration through pictures. It's actually a genius idea, why use words when a picture is worth a thousand. You can Instagram a pair of shoes you're lusting over, allowing you to create a type of wish list. You can 'like' a manicure and pull up the picture the next time you go get your nails done. I find my self taking screen shots constantly, making sure I remember where to get a sweater Eva Chen is wearing or a beanie Cara Delevingne uploads. Instagram opens up so many doors, whether in fashion, life or food. If you don't have one, go ahead and create an account. It's inspiration in the palm of your hand and lasts all day long.
I've had the same dream since I was five years old - work in fashion. If someone were to ask me why, I'd be able to give you a list of reasons. One reason being is that I love the never ending, constantly changing world of the fashion industry. We are always needing new clothes, shoes and accessories. The idea of fashion being this ever evolving concept is exciting and thrilling to me. I've wanted to move to New York since my first trip there with my family when I was about 8 years old. We stayed at the Plaza and went ice skating at Rockefeller. I threatened my parents that I'd glue my butt to the chair when they said it was time to go home, I refused to leave. Manhattan had stolen my heart and it still has it to this day. Growing up, my dream has been the same but it has grown and changed in a few ways. I obviously want to pursue fashion. At first I thought I wanted to be a designer, I grew up painting and drawing so I loved the idea of creating clothing. I soon realized I didn't have the passion for design, but I did have the passion for styling. It wasn't until I arrived at SCAD that I had hands on experience styling. Of course, in high school I would help style my friends for parties, but it was nothing like what I am experiencing at school and what I have experienced in New York. We all know making a living in the big city is not so easy. After interning at Seventeen Magazine, I quickly learned that styling is not something everyone can do and be successful at. I learned what a Market Editor was and the importance they had at magazines and I knew that was what I have to do once I graduate.
I've read magazines forever and there is nothing like holding those pages in your hands and seeing the future in each spread...you know, the future of fashion. What we are going to be wearing this season, how to wear it and where exactly to buy it. The idea of having little books full of inspiration will always be something I cherish. While some may say magazines will not exist in a few years because of the digital age, I can't imagine my world without them. I want to work in magazines and read them for the rest of my life.
If you're wondering what the point of this post is, it's to inspire you. I have made a list in my phone of things I want to accomplish before I turn 25. (I'm currently 20, turning 21 in June.) There are so many things to do in a lifetime - fall in love, travel, eat foreign cuisine, meet new people. I have a very specific bucket list of goals I want to pursue. In my opinion it is so important to have things you want to do, every day you challenge yourself, it adds excitement to your life and gives it more meaning. So, I've decided to share my bucket list. Feel free to be inspired, add my goals to your list and check them off as soon as you can. Life is short, so do what you dream of and of course, buy the shoes.
1. Move to New York - I've been living in Miami until I moved to Savannah to go to school. I have been dying to get to the city, but obviously it is not so easy. It is expensive and scary but I will do it as soon as I can.
2. Work for Vogue Magazine - Every fashionista's dream come true, but I am going to make it a reality.
3. Buy Myself a Birkin - Call me materialistic, but the Birkin bag, in my opinion, is a sign of success in the fashion industry. The day I can buy one without worrying about expenses is the day I know I have made it.
4. Be Coveteur'd - Who doesn't want their closet photographed and shown off? Anyone who has been coveteur'd is automatically known for a great sense of style.
5. Travel the World - I want to go to Fashion Week in every city and eat weird food with people I care about.
6. Write a Memoir - As you can probably tell from my blog, I have a lot to say and I am very opinionated. I want to share my story in a book, telling readers how I first fell in love with fashion and what I did to got myself to where I will be.
If you have dreams, hopes and goals, comment below and share them with me. I'd love to be inspired by you, too!
Leather is my favorite type of material you can find on clothing. I love the edginess it can bring to the most feminine items and it truly goes with everything. My obsession for a while now is the leather sleeve trend. You can throw on a jacket with leather sleeves and be good to go for a day to night look. Now we see shirts with leather and obviously pants and I absolutely love it. If you're into leather like me, go ahead and treat yourself to an awesome piece that will be forever apart of your closet. My amazing cargo jacket goes with me everywhere. It looks great with anything in my wardrobe and the color is the perfect shade of green to add some punk to my look. I am a huge fan of throwing a jacket over your cute dress. You'll probably end up taking the jacket off but no matter what you will look amazing through out the day!
